I Don't Recommend Maverick Money Makers

If you've been researching how to make money online, chances are you've come across a membership site called Maverick Money Makers.

I do not recommend this program.

There are quite a number of reviews that will sing praises about Maverick Money Makers but I did a little digging and found that the real users have quite a bit of problems with this program ranging from being taught unethical business practices to outdated material and not to mention the high monthly membership fee.

Step By Step Affiliate Marketing - Helping Out a Friend

This guy Burton is new to affiliate marketing so he asks for help on the Affiliatebot affiliate marketing forum, where I'm a member.

I realize that he's really serious about learning affiliate marketing so I pitch in to help him out on a thread he started entitled, "Step by Step Affiliate Marketing". The post turned out to be a very valuable post that anyone can follow.

Burton responded and decide to take action and the ongoing thread is one of the most helpful threads posted on the forum with Burton asking questions, updating his progress and me answering the questions, offering suggestions and guidance.

I think you should check it out and don't be shy about joining in if you have questions of your own.

Stay Far Away From Google Cash Kits

Here at Honest Home Income, I really want people to be able to earn money online without getting scammed.

One of the scams that I've been coming across lately...too often is the Google Money Systems or Google cash kits. They're known by a lot of names and are very misleading in their advertising. There are quite a bit of people who claim to be getting results with the Google Money kits but their aim is really to get you to sign up for the kits.

How to Post Search Engine Ads

One of the quickest ways to make money from home is to post ads on online search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN.

By far the most popular search engine to post ads on is Google. You've probably seen promotions about making money from Google.

Here's how it works.

The advertiser - you - posts an ad on the search engine. You specifies which keywords you want Google to show your ad for.

A searcher types the keyword into the search engine and the results come up. On the right hand side Google shows ads for that keyword by advertisers. If the searcher clicks your ad, you pay Google a small fee, usually some cents, and the searcher is taken to your advertised site either via your affiliate link or the site that you specified when making the ad.

This type of advertising is called PPC advertising and can be highly profitable once you know what you're doing.

PPC, which stands for pay per click is a paid form of advertising for your affiliate promotions and has its advantages and disadvantages. Although you don't need money to make money online, PPC requires that you have a budget which doesn't necessarily have to be huge. You can open a Google Adwords account with only $5.

The advantages of posting search engine ads:

1. You can get visitors to your site very fast ie. in as little as 15 minutes.
2. You can target specific keywords that make money
   
3. Once your ad is making money at a profitable rate you can run the campaign almost on autopilot.
4. Posting search engine ads is more predicatable than other forms of advertising.

The disadvantages of posting search engine ads:

1. Google is usually picky about what you should have on your website.
2. If you aren't careful you can blow your budget without making a profit or sale.
   
3. You need to know exactly what you're doing before you attempt to have your ad go live.
   

Posting search engine ads can be fun once you know what you're doing and can make you a lot of money in a short space of time. Its not uncommon to see people make $300 and $400 per day although I know some guys who make thousands per day but these guys usually have big budgets.

2. Beating Adwords - This is one of the best books ever written on the subject of using Google to post ads but you can get it free by signing up to Wealthy Affiliate using this link.

3. Wealthy Affiliate - offers an accreditation course in PPC. The guys who run WA are also the writers of Beating Adwords - experts who can turn you from clueless to making money posting search engine ads.

Warning - Legit Online Jobs isn't so Legit.

With a name like Legit Online Jobs, you would expect something that has some honesty in it where you can make money from home freely.

Maybe you've come across Legit Online Jobs before and thought it looked good and maybe you even thought about trying it. Don't!
